“A leader is someone that can get other people to do things that wouldn’t have otherwise gotten done if the leader hadn’t been there.”

The following is from a training given to our team by my personal mentor and sponsor David Wood. It is so powerful that I was compelled to share it. (View the full training here, however it is specific to my team’s company)

These commitments can be applied to any company within Network Marketing. In fact, we carried these commitments over to our new company team from our previous network marketing company that had shut down its compensation plan.

This is for those who desire to be leaders in network marketing.

The Ten Core Commitments

1. Get Started Right – In your first 24 hours,
plug into your team training.And jump in with a major burst of energy.
Contact people that you know personally and that you know well,
(keep the list small,,, don’t call your neighbor’s cousin’s friend,,,
unless that’s also your best friend), to tell them you have started
your business. (Use your team training to learn how to do this without being overbearing)

Start your business right, and get your new people to do the same.
Plug people into your teams existing system for training.

***If you feel embarrassed to tell those closest to you about your
business then you are either with the wrong company,
or network marketing may not be for you.***

2. Three Great Invitations A Day – Expose at least 3 people to your
business on a daily basis using 3rd party tools. Always be connecting.
If you have just started, treat people right and invite them to see the
message from someone other than YOU.

3. Form A Mastermind Team – This has worked for thousands of
years. It still does. Find a core group of people to work with and
bounce ideas, trade tips on what is working for each person.

4. Support A Weekly Meeting – Bring your business to the world.
Meet people and build relationships. (Don’t just throw out your
business card!) This meeting can begin with just 2 people. Invite
someone to lunch and connect. You will see 10 times the success
of recruiting locally over using the internet alone.

5. Daily Personal Growth – Read for 15-30 minutes per day.
Leaders are readers. Countless studies have shown that one
of the main differences between highly successful people and
average people is how much they read.

6. Study Marketing – Don’t overwhelm yourself. Make regular time
to study. Rome wasn’t built in a day. Learn to eventually generate
at least 10-20 leads per day. Study the leaders in marketing.

7. Attend The Big Events – There may be 2 or 3 per year. One of
the secrets of the top earners is they make events and bring their
team.

8. Get Connected – This is a team sport. Connect with your upline,
your sponsor, your company, and your personal team. Reach out.
Be on the weekly team training, presentations, and chat groups.

9. Support The Team – Be available to anyone in any way that you
can. It doesn’t matter if they are on your team or not. We, as a
company, are a team. Let’s ROCK this together.

10. Be Here In A Year
Everyone who is here in a year and follows these commitments
will have a dramatic transformation in their lives. All that is
required is that you follow the commitments and have your team do the same.
