So, we meet again. Take a moment to subscribe to my RSS feed. Thank you for your visit!

Promoting your MLM on the internet is 99.9% impossible if you are just sending people directly to your replicated company website. Everyone in your company has one. (Why your website is ruining your MLM)

You need your own customizable website with your face and your message that promotes you as THE person to join in your company.

It’s possible to create your own website to do this, but it’s highly technical, labor intensive and can cost a lot of money. There’s a lot of research on how to create the content and how to design the website code. Your job is not to be a technical guru, it’s to market.

It makes sense to use someone else’s system because you are wasting your valuable time if you are going to try and do this technical work on your own.

There are several different systems available but not all of them are up to par. There are certain criteria that a marketing system needs to meet. If it doesn’t meet all of these criteria it is not going to be fully effective for marketing your MLM opportunity.

1. Training – The actual creators of the marketing system offer consistent and up to date training on how to market and how to use their system. Getting training from your sponsor and a few others is not enough. Most likely they are just learning how to use the system too. You need training bigger than that.

2. Custom Capture Page – At no extra cost. I’ve come across free and highly expensive systems. I’ve only found one system that let’s you FULLY customize your capture page without having to do any upgrading. This is important because you want to be able to put your pictures, videos and content on your page. If you can’t do this with a marketing system then it is worthless to you because this is the whole purpose of using the system.

3. Promote ANY Company – Marketing systems are a tool for promoting your PRIMARY business. Be sure that the system you choose allows you to use it with any business. There are some that only allow the usage of a primary company that has previously been integrated and approved by the marketing system.

Bonus Tip – An Independent Autoresponder – An autoresponder is the service that sends out your follow up emails. Having an independent autoresponder guarantees that you own those leads and not the system that you are using. You want to be able to take your list of contacts with you. Also, if in the future you do become a technical guru and start creating your own webpages you can insert capture boxes that drop prospects into your autoresponder.

One More Bonus Tip – Premade Follow Up Emails – Eventually you will want to customize all the emails in your autoresponder but to get started immediately with marketing a generic list of emails will give you a jump start.

I’ve done the research and found a lead capture system that already meets this criteria. Access this simple system to promote and market your primary business online.

The MAGIC question to create a YES answer.

After today, if you ever ask someone if they are interested in starting a home based business I’m going personally find you,,, smack you on the forehead, and ask if you’ve had your V8.

The words you choose when asking someone to look at your business opportunity are either going to make you or break you.

If you don’t know how to ask someone to look at your opportunity, then no one is going to look at it! If no one is looking at your opportunity, then no one is going to join your opportunity. And you’re going to be broke.

Even if you have already exhausted your entire list of contacts, both offline and online, you can go back and get people to view your opportunity using this strategy.

What is your answer if I asked you:

“Would you be interested in a home based business?”

A big fat NO.

Nobody wants to join a home based business opportunity.

What if I asked you:

“Are you open to the idea of making more money, or are you completely locked in to what you are already doing?”

Everybody wants to make more money. People may be really tied up in what they have going on at the moment and don’t have the time to get involved in something new. But you know they would like to make more money.

Nobody is interested in your business, but everyone is open to opportunity.

Go through your list of contacts. Yes right now! All of them, offline and online, and ask them if they are open.

The most common MLM recruiting strategy that sponsors give the their new distributors is to make a list of 100 friends and family. Then invite them to a home meeting to give a business presentation.

And everyone hates doing it.

For those that have done this, they have usually done it wrong. And it’s not your fault if you have. The blame goes back up your upline for not showing you the right way,,, if they even know how to do it the right way.

Anyone that has used this method could share a story about friends not returning phone calls anymore and awkward moments around the family during the holidays. Everyone is on alert for a sales pitch.

In this industry it is necessary to at some point tap into your list of family and friends. It’s better to do it sooner than later. Doing it sooner is better than later because getting started in online marketing takes longer than getting started with your friends and family. Contacting those you already know can be done in 1 minute.

What do you do if you already went through your list of who you know?

You didn’t want to do it the first time, (some of you may have done it a 2nd time) so you may be thinking it’s out of the question to approach them again.

Wrong. You can.

First you have to APOLOGIZE. And do it sincerely. Don’t just say the words “I’m sorry”. Acknowledge that got them involved in something that just wasn’t that great of an opportunity and then use the words “I apologize”. It carries more meaning.

It’s ok to admit to them that you were naïve, foolish, ignorant or whatever and that you are not with that company anymore and that you have learned from your mistake.

If they don’t throw you out of their house or hang up before you finish, it’s ok to ask them if they are open to the idea of making more money. If they say no then leave it at that and tell them that you won’t bother them again.

Anyone that has already talked to their list of friends and family before actually have an advantage over those who haven’t. The initial fear has already been conquered.

Still terrified of approaching your friends and family. Seek an alternative with this simple system.

Breaking through writer’s block.

Hit the wall and run out of topics in your article marketing? Article marketing requires consistent release of content. But what are you supposed to do when you get writer’s block?

First of all, if you chose articles as your form of marketing I should hope that you truly like to write. Because you will need to be doing a lot of it.

To get thru a writer’s block, professional writers say to just keep writing. It doesn’t matter if what you write turns out to be good enough for publishing. The writing itself leads to productive ideas.

“What do I write about?”

This is the number one question I am asked by new marketers choosing to use article marketing.

Every article should be based around a keyword to create top search engine results. The article should stay on topic for the keyword that is chosen. Here are the 5 categories of keywords to use for article marketing, starting with the easiest one to rank high for.

YOU – Writing an entire article about yourself isn’t effective when you are new because no one is going to care who you are at first. But here’s why I mention it: when someone does learn who you are they are going to research your name. Put your name as a keyword in any content you produce. Also, put a single biographical line about yourself in the “about the author” section. Write this section in 3rd person and write out your name. I also include this because article marketing is based on attraction marketing and your purpose is to attract people to YOU.

*Tip: Articles should link back to your blog or website where there is a section all about you with your story. Prospects want to know you and trust you before they join you.

YOUR COMPANY – Once people find you and research you they are going to figure out which MLM company you are in. When they do a search of your MLM you want them to find what you have to say about the company. Not someone bad mouthing your MLM opportunity. Write a positive 3rd person review of your company. Make it informative and honest without hype. Readers will see right through that.

*Tip: Everyone thinks that their company is “the best” speak positive about your company without hype and include a story of success. Remember FTC law and NO income claims.

OTHER COMPANIES – Why should you write a review of a company you aren’t in? Because people who are looking to join MLM research a lot of companies. If you present yourself as an expert in MLM and write about other companies you will attract prospects because you are knowledgeable about more than just your MLM. Again, be honest in your review. Be sure to state that you are not with the company you are reviewing so there is no confusion later.

*Tip – Never trash talk and don’t write about things you don’t know about. If you don’t understand compensation plans don’t try to explain one. Summarize the company history. You can include a marketing strategy on how to make money in XYZ company. and keep it factual.

*Bonus Tip – Write about NEW companies. Ones that have been around for awhile will have a lot of articles about them. If you are one of the first to write about a company your article can be found faster and easier.

PRODUCTS and PEOPLE – There are a lot of big names in the MLM industry. Those big name marketers usually have released their own training or affiliate products. Write a review of their product or a biographical story about them. Again, be honest and keep your facts straight. Do your homework on a person first. And NEVER use the word scam along with a person’s name. Successful people can afford lawyers, don’t bring a lawsuit on yourself. This topic is why you want to make yourself rank high in search engines when you first begin article marketing. As you become successful other people will write about you. You want to be the one in control of the content that people see.

*Tip: Write about a product you actually use. If you are an affiliate of that product you can include a link to it in the resource box of the article. Most article sites allow 2 links in the resource box. One should always be back to the original content on your website. The other can be to your affiliate link.

GENERIC – Topics on the “how to” of MLM. How to choose a domain name, how to choose a sponsor, how to create article content, how to find the right company, how to make money in MLM, how to market online, how to prospect offline… This topic is endless. But since it’s generic it is harder to rank in the search engine results. It is easiest to write about though.

*Tip: Watch one training video or webinar on MLM and you will have plenty of topics to write about. Choose one and elaborate.

Make your content original. You can write about the same topic or idea that someone else has written. I’m sure someone else has written on this same topic before, perhaps even with this same format. What matters is that the words are your own. You can use the same idea, not the same words.

If you submit to more than one article site you must “spin” the article. Change the wording of the article with synonyms and different sentence structure. Search engines will ignore your article if it is posted everywhere exactly the same.

When joining an MLM business you are joining with more than just the company. Yes, the company that you are joining needs to be aligned with your beliefs and values, but this is a business of people. You also need to evaluate the sponsor you are choosing.

A lot of people in an MLM business are brought in by a friend or family member as their sponsor. This can be a lot of fun because you are working close with someone you know well, but the downside is that your friends and family may not be qualified to train you on how to run your business because they too may be in the learning stages. This can be a great journey for the both of you, but if you want to skip the headache of learning together you can do some sponsor shopping.

The person that sponsors you into their MLM opportunity isn’t someone that just disappears after they get your money. At least they shouldn’t be. They will be training you on how to market and run your own MLM business.

The 4 qualifications of an MLM sponsor:

1. Committed to your success. The sponsor that is committed to your success in your MLM opportunity is going to give you training and valuable information before you even sign up with them. Your sponsor will want you to be educated on the basics of MLM and knowledgeable before joining the opportunity so that you will be able to jump right in and get started. You can recognize their commitment through their training emails their newsletters and information they have posted for you on their blog.

2. Training outside of what the primary MLM company has to offer. The really good MLM companies have access on their website to train distributors. But the really exceptional MLM sponsors have found other resources that they can tap you into for further MLM training.

3. Their marketing method. Sponsors use the form of advertising for their MLM opportunity that they know how to use the best and the one that they feel the most natural doing. It can be videos, articles, PPC, social media or any single use or combination of a number of methods. Whatever they use is also the form of marketing that they are going to be best at training you in. Your sponsor may know how to utilize other forms of marketing, but they are going to be the most knowledgeable and up to date in the form they use the most. So if you aren’t going to be comfortable using the same marketing tactics that your sponsor is using, then it may not be the best sponsor for you.

4. Their personality. There are so many different types of people in the world. Some of those people we like, others not so much. Obviously the sponsor you choose is going to be someone you like, but it also needs to be someone that you feel comfortable asking questions. Don’t end up sitting in the dark because you feel awkward approaching your sponsor with a question.

If you are choosing to work your MLM business online then it seem logical that you would choose your sponsor through the internet. This is not a choice that should be made quickly so be prepared to take at least a few days to a few weeks to find a sponsor. During this time you should also be doing as much research and learning about MLM as possible so that you will well educated and ready to start when you find the sponsor you click with.

The 4 steps to finding an MLM sponsor that meets the 4 qualifications:

1. RSS. If they have a blog or video channel then subscribe to it. View their content that they put out. It should be valuable, educational and shows their personality.

2. Capture page. Opt in to their capture page. See what they have to offer, read their emails, view any training videos they send you, and get a feel for their style.

3. Do this for more than one. Sign up for several different MLM distributors content. As you find those that aren’t a fit, just unsubscribe from their lists. Narrow down through this process until you have found the right sponsor for you.

4. One final and crucial step in selecting a sponsor, get on the phone with them! You are going to have to stand out to the person sponsoring you. They are going to want to test you out as well and be sure that they are sponsoring someone that isn’t going to be wasting their time and training. Show them your dedication, and by speaking with them after going through the above process you will be an educated prospect. You will know if they are the right sponsor for you, and they will know you are ready to get to work.

By following these steps you will ensure that you find the person that will help you succeed in your MLM business and they will shorten your learning time down to months instead of years.

Whenever I start a new exercise plan I always want immediate results. Don’t we all? Our common sense tells us that it takes work and that we have to stick to it and see it through for a few months before we can get noticeable results.

So why aren’t you putting that same theory into your MLM business? Out of the people I talk to that are struggling the number one thing they all have in common is that they don’t stick with anything long enough to see the results.

There are two things that they change in the hopes of getting better results, and those are the last two things that should be changed.

1. The Company – People jump from one MLM company to another like they are running for their lives. STOP IT!!!! Each company has new products and compensation plans to learn and each team has it’s own way of communicating and working together. If you aren’t sticking around long enough to get your groove on in that company, then of course you aren’t going to be successful in it! If you find yourself in a company or team that is going against your principles or you are embarrassed to be a part of it or you aren’t comfortable promoting it, then by all means get out. But do your homework before you join another one. You need to be in a company that you feel good about and makes you feel good enough to go sponsor your Grandma.

2. Marketing – There are many different mediums to marketing such as Pay Per Click, Viral email, article marketing, social media, blogging, classifieds, lead lists, home meetings and contacting friends and family. The problem is new MLM’ers will dabble in one for a few weeks and when they don’t see results they move on to another form of marketing. Each form of marketing takes some time to master it and to build up a network of relationships.

If you really want to change something that will bring success to your MLM, then start changing yourself. Analyze yourself and figure out what it takes to motivate yourself to focus and see one plan through to the results. Take a the time to do some research and find a company that resonates with your opinions, goals, mindset and mission in life. Then find the form of marketing that you feel natural and comfortable with. If you are trying to market and reach out to people in a way that doesn’t feel good to you then you aren’t going to stick with it.

Find your zone and get your groove on, focus and perfect your strategy until you see the results you want.

Now, does anyone know the latest exercise craze? The one I’m doing isn’t working.

Did your MLM company provide you with a “personal” website to market your opportunity?

Does your “personal” website look like everyone else’s in your company except for the super tiny text at the bottom with your name, email and phone number?

Are you finding that your leads from this site have NO CLUE who you are when you call them?

That’s because when the company created this site their primary concern was to promote the company, not you. Unfortunately, this website makes your life as a marketer more difficult, not easier.

And one more bad piece of news, the leads that you generate with this site aren’t your leads, they belong to the company.

You will not find a single top earner in this business that will use a replicated generic company website. That also means you are not going to become a top earner in this industry with a replicated website either.

Here’s a story to tell you why:

Say you want to buy a low cost fuel economy car. You look up fuel economy autos in the yellow pages or online and find an ad for the Most Affordable Fuel Economy Vehicle at Dealer X. So you go to Dealer X’s lot and you see rows of huge trucks on huge tires with huge suspension. (Most people would just leave at this point because they feel duped, but you are curious and check it out). You ask the smooth sales guy about the Most Affordable Fuel Economy Vehicle and he takes you to the back lot where there’s an old diesel van that’s been converted to burn used vegetable oil. You burn more gas leaving the lot as fast as you can that what it took you to drive there.

This is similar to what happens to the people you bring to your company website. You interact with people on social jacobtagmedia sites, or you send out an email, or you wrote an article, something that you’ve attached your website to. Potential leads click on the link and then, BAM you’re gone. There is nothing on this site about you to keep you in their mind. They might fill out the optin form, but still, you’re not there.

Solution: A truly customizable personal website to capture your leads.

1. You become branded in your prospects mind. They will remember who you are.

2. SEO! A custom site can be optimized with keywords for search engine rank.

3. You own your leads because they are on your list, not the company’s.

The top producers in this industry are not promoting a replicated website, they have their own personal site. If you want to make it big in MLM or Direct Sales, then you need a personal website. (Is A Personal Domain Name Important For MLM?)I wanna webpage

I’m on a Top 10 roll right now.

top10MLM and network marketing often get associated with scams.  Some of them are.  Many more of them are legit.  The tricky part is choosing one that is the right fit for you. The most outstanding MLM company could fall in your lap tomorrow, but if it’s not the right match, you might end up feeling burned in the end.

Here’s a list of the top 10 things to consider when choosing an MLM company for network marketing.

10. Who You Gonna Call?phone

Other than the person that signs you up, who can you talk to?  Is there technical support for the website?  A member’s forum? Is there a team of people you can call for marketing, leadership and member support?  Having access to a high level support shows a company’s seriousness to maintain its existence and dedication to your success.

9. History In The Making

90% of marketing companies fail in their first 2 years. The company you choose should be around for at least 5 years.  If they’re not, then look at the company founders and CEO. Where did they come from? Do they own other businesses? Do they have a successful track record?

8. KISS,,, Keep It Short and Simple

Compensation plans can be complicated. If you don’t understand the plan before you sign up then don’t join that company. You will be responsible for explaining it to anyone you sign up. Even if you master the understanding of the company’s compensation plan, your distributors still have to understand it!

7. Show Me The Money!

The payout of commissions should not rely on a qualification process.  Commissions should not have to be passed up to your sponsor during a probationary period, nor should you have to wait until you have a qualifying amount of distributors under you before you can be paid.  Your cash flow should have potential to be immediate so that you can fund marketing and expansion of your business. It also allows you the flexibility to keep your full time job and use your limited time efficiently.

6. Product, Product, Product

Just like Real Estate says Location Location Location.  The product has to be able to survive on it’s own, meaning is it something that people would purchase if it wasn’t attached to a business opportunity. The product should be unique and without a ton of competition. There are TONS of companies selling juice and vitamin out there, those products are not unique anymore.  The product should be something that people will be purchasing for years to come so avoid trendy items that are just this seasons fad.

books5. Back To School, Back To School,,,,

Training and education is invaluable in this industry and a forward thinking company is going to provide you with top training and tools. The first company I ever signed up with offered “training” that consisted of a 3way call with my “leads”. In other words, I gave a list of my friends and family to my sponsor and they called all of them while I listened in.  Obviously this is not training. Look for live training webcasts, forums, recorded “how to” videos, examples, live Q & A calls, and a support center.

4. It’s a Techie World

The company should be taking full advantage of technology and have a system in place that anyone can plug into and start generating leads and income immediately.  The company should offer customizable webpages and the ability for you to brand yourself and not promote a generic page.

3. Pay It Forward

A company devoted to giving back is looking to stay in business long term.  They focus on providing value to the community and all of society.  Their primary concern is not becoming a bunch of filthy rich millionaires with a mansion and a yacht.  The leader of the company should be someone that understands true wealth is taking responsibility for the good they can accomplish in the world.

2. Too Hot For Teacher

The person you sign up with should be a leader and someone that you can connect with and will mentor you.  A sponsor is someone that will mentor, guide, and teach you.  A recruiter simply sees dollar signs for themselves in you.

laugh horse

1. Just Wanna Have Fun

You HAVE to like what you are doing and find it fun.  This isn’t like any other job that is just a temporary means to money.  This industry is a totally different mentality and requires a entrepreneur mindset.  You are in business for yourself and don’t answer to anyone else, so if you don’t like it and have fun with it, you aren’t going to do what it takes to make it work.  Don’t fall for the “overnight success” stories, there was work involved to get to that point, but those people enjoyed it and that’s why they made it big.

There are some things in MLM and Network Marketing that make me sick.  In fact they make me wanna say that I hate MLM.

imagesMostly the things I hate are the one liners that most marketers cast out with great high hopes.  I’m totally amazed when they get a bite.

Here’s my top 10 list of worst one liners created for MLM.  I like top 10 lists, maybe because I’ve always been a Dave Letterman fan.

I urge you,,, BEG you, please do not fall for these lame MLM lines!

10. 100% free to join.

That’s appealing for a moment.  But then my logic takes over.  If it’s free for me to join, then it’s free for everyone to join, and any money I make isn’t going to be much.  This sounds like more work than it’s worth, because I can put the same amount of effort into a large sale as I can a small sale.

9. Get Paid To Play On The Internet

These are the “read emails” and “read junk mail” ones.  They aren’t always tied with an MLM, but I see this one once in a while.  There are also those that claim you can get paid for what you already do on the internet.  These are pretty equal to “It’s Free”.

8. It sells itself!

Really?  If you buy a truckload of “it” and have it delivered to your door, you will make a ton of cash?  I don’t think so.  You will have to perform some level of selling.  Even if all you’re doing is displaying “it” on a card table at the end of your driveway with a “4 sale” sign.  You can add “No Selling” to this one.  I’ve seen that too.  What they mean is “No Distributing”, you aren’t going to have to physically deliver the product to someone’s door.  But there will be an element of selling involved, we are dealing with marketing here.

7. Best Opportunity Evahhhh!

They can’t ALL be the best opportunity ever.  I will agree that there are some really impressive opportunities out there.  But your best opportunity may not be the best for your next prospect.  Everyone has their own idea of what the best is.

6. Easy Extra Cash.

This one isn’t as bad as the rest.  In fact, it’s really ok.  This is a perfect way to target people that only have a few hours a week to devote to internet marketing.  The downside of using this is that you are going to attract part timers and not serious inquiries and marketers.

5. Check It Out.

This one isn’t really bad either.  It just sounds like whoever is using has completely run out of things to say and doesn’t believe in their business anymore. Or they don’t know what to say in the first place.

4. Work in your PJ’s

At first this sounds so comfy.  Working in the comfort of your own home, wearing whatever you want.  Being lackadaisical. Go a little deeper and this starts to scream lazy.  Working in your PJ’s is cool for part of the time, but you need to maintain a level of professionalism and self discipline.  I wouldn’t sign up with someone that slept late everyday and worked in their PJ’s.  This does not make a good impression. Having posture in this business is crucial because people can sense your professionalism even through the phone.

3. Try It!

If you’re going into a business with a “try it” mentality, then you aren’t going to make it.  Trump did not “try” to build his empire.  Bill Gates did not “try” to create Microsoft.  If you know anything about this industry you know that Mike Dillard did not “try” to create Magnetic Sponsoring.

2. Autopilot.

This doesn’t really exist in a pure form.  There are some amazing businesses and tools that come real close to being automated, but in order to get to autopilot there is a lot of set up work.  Then it is possible for the system to generate leads on its own, but there is maintenance and fine-tuning required.  Many of these require setup of other tools (that have a monthly fee) to run along with them.  If you aren’t prepared for that, you might find yourself spending more than you were ready for.  The few good companies that can come closest to truly claiming “autopilot” rarely use that word. (Hint: look for “leverage”)

1. Prelaunch!

Get in on the ground floor! This one definitely deserves the #1 spot.  Anyone who has been in this industry for the long haul has seen the bad effects a prelaunch can have on existing MLMs.  I believe prelaunches are the number one cause of what I call the “scam effect”.  So many people get burned either because they joined a prelaunch, or half their downline leaves them for a prelaunch in a new company. And that is why so many people scream “scam”.  It’s just a mess, and I look away everytime I see the word prelaunch.

PLEASE don’t jump at these.  That’s like falling for a cheesy pick up line in a bar, the guy using those has to be incredibly good looking and do it with a knock out sense of humor for it work.  Just like that guy at the bar, there are cases when using these lines will work.  But it’s rare, and if you’re new, the best advice to follow is to steer clear of these phrases!

If you want to make it in this industry you need to learn what the top producers do and how they set up their marketing.

Stop casting out one line hooks and praying for a bite, cast a net and reel in the masses.

Get training and the truth.

Taking control of the internet and putting you and your MLM in the top search results requires keyword domination. The good news is that 99% of internet marketers aren’t doing it for their MLM, and most of the 1% of Network Marketers that are doing it,,, are missing some of the pieces.

If you have ever searched Google, you can see the importance of being at the top of SERP (Search Engine Results Page) because you and everyone else only look at the top website returns.

SEO Networkers have a package that will train you how to put SEO to work in your MLM. These two guys that founded SEO Networkers are the guys Mike Dillard hired to do all the SEO for Magnetic Sponsoring (they are also responsible for Robert Kiyosaki’s website SEO).

SEO has been put into action for professional markets for the past several years. Real Estate, Stocks, Banking; all of the search engine results for these industries are strategically aligned and the top SERP slots are highly fought over. Even more good news for you is that the MLM industry is full of entrepreneurs, not major corporations paying experts for SEO. Taking charge of the top position on Google is easily within your grasp.

You can go out and do the research on SEO yourself and might find enough info to be able to rank page 2 or 3. But if you want slot number one, you are going to have to do a year’s worth of research and trial and error. Or you could just skip all that and go learn from the experts Mike Dillard hired.

Ferny Ceballos and Raymond Fong put together SEO Networkers to bring it to the entrepreneurs ready to dominate Google with their MLM. (This 8 week training course is packed with bonuses!)

Learn how to rank for searches on keywords for your company name, other company’s names, names of products, names of industry leaders and generic keywords such as MLM and Network Marketing.

Ferny Ceballos and Raymond Fong will teach you how to place yourself as a leader in your company and keep others away from your leads, even if you haven’t sponsored a single person.

If you don’t think SEO matters for MLM, look at how Google determines what page deserves to be ranked up at the top.

1. Keywords – Anyone new to SEO (Search Engine Optimization) believes this is all there is to ranking on Google. 4 or 5 years ago, this was true. Keywords are the building blocks for SEO that supports the bigger structure.

2. Website Organization – Your website (your blog) needs to be laid out in an organized manner. Think of it as a file cabinet and each page has its own file and own uniqueness. Each page has it’s own title and own set of key words. Give your blog categories and each blog entry its own set of keywords. You need to do this with a blog, and not a company replicated website issued by your MLM business. You cannot customize and optimize a replicated site!

3. Links To Your Site – Also known as trackbacks. When other people share your content on your website on their own site this works like a ‘vote’. The more votes you have the more popular and important you appear to Google. You can ‘vote’ for yourself by linking your social media sites back to your website and to each other.

These 3 things all rely on relevance. Your site must be consistent. The title, keywords and content should all be relative to each other. If your website does not match, Google will view it as garbage, or worse a scam.

SEO is designed around how Google works. Implementing SEO involves taking keywords, inputting them into your website in a strategic way to get recognized. Then linking your website with your social media. Then by sharing your link others will share it and pass it on creating more links to your site.

It’s possible to take control of your internet content and search results without SEO Networker. And it is possible to learn enough to do this on your own. In fact, now is the best time to do that if you are going to do it on your own. SEO Networker was just made available to the public November 2009. However, that very same reason also makes now the best time to take advantage of SEO Networker.

With all the talk about the Google slap on adwords and PPC, SEO has gained popularity. SEO is NOT advertising. It holds more credibility and less liability. Because SEO places you website in the search results and not the PPC (pay per click) ads on the side, more people will visit your sites resulting in more content sharing. Your site holds the potential to go viral! This is another reason you need your own website, preferably a blog, instead of a replicated company website given to you by your MLM. Who is going to share a link to a replicated site?

Putting SEO to work for you and your MLM will place your website and all of your social media profile sites at the top of the search engine results. Dominate the first page and place yourself out in front as a leader of your company.
