Shifting Your MLM From Business Plan To Business Action
If you are like most beginner entrepreneurs you spent a lot of time planning. Then after you plan out your business you planned how you were going to run your business. Then you planned how you were going to set up your office. Then you planned when you were going to work. Then you planned some more.
You are in desperate need of action. But so many beginners will sit and over plan, thinking of how to get started, and take so much time getting ready, that they never start. Planning only takes you so far, and then you reach what runners call “hitting the wall”, or what writers call “writers block”.
You’ve made the struggle to get to the point of taking action. Now you need that push to get you over the edge and into action.
Here are 3 steps to jump into action.
1. Set a goal
2. Determine what needs to be done to accomplish that goal.
3. Set a time limit that you will reach that goal.
Then take action.
Yes it’s really that simple. Just start.
It’s not necessary to understand everything in order to use everything.
Do not spend time thinking about how you are going to do everything. Just start doing. If you pause, procrastination will take over and failure will win. You certainly wouldn’t win a marathon if you stood at the starting line thinking of the route to the finish line. In fact, you wouldn’t even finish it.
Taking action is so critical that if you do nothing once you reach the action point, you might as well go back to your old job and do what your boss tells you.
Getting past the first element of fear that holds us from action is exhilarating. The feeling of accomplishment will grow with each step. It builds up within you and creates momentum to tackle even larger projects.
You don’t need to see the entire staircase to make it to the top, you just need to take the first step.
