Who is this girl?

I've see you hangin around here often, I really appreciate that :) I like to see everyone have success. Access my personal training How To Sponsor Directly For Free. Thanks for coming back!

The fabulous me!

My Passion is to show others the greatness within themselves.

My Purpose is to empower them to let it shine for all the world to see.

I am a person of integrity and value and seek the value in others as well.  I ask questions since it is the only way to truly learn about others wants, needs and desires and to discover if I am to be of any aid to them in their journey.  And because if you never ask, the answer is always no.

I’m driven and set high standards, and strive to lift up others to set goals and standards for themselves.  To never let anyone steal their dreams, and to empower them to tell anyone that gets in their way to either help with the mission, or just sit down and watch.

Because there are 3 types of people in this world:

Those Who Make Things Happen”
Those Who Watch Things Happen
Those Who Say “What Just Happened?”

Which one are you?

My Story:

I don’t have a story about how I did embarrassing things in public while using the 3 foot rule. I didn’t go through having to call my friends and family. I don’t have a story about years of struggle in the Network Marketing industry. My story is different from the copycat “my story” section of all the other Network Marketing blogs.

I struggled for a whole 2 months.

I didn’t get success in my third month though, or my fourth.

Actually, I did something stupid, much dumber than what other marketers talk about. But first, let me tell you about the problem I had before I made my huge mistake.

The first two months I spent in Network Marketing were with a “green” company that sold alternative household items and some vitamins. They weren’t any different from any other Network Marketing company that sold that kind of product, but I didn’t know that at the time and this was my first exposure to Network Marketing.

I joined the company because they said that I could work from home and market online. However, as soon as I signed up they told me to make a list of my friends and family and get them to sign up. I was angry about that deception and insisted on marketing online and took their training for internet marketing.

This training involved signing up on free job classified websites and posting ads. It took forever and got zero results. I got 2 leads in 2 months and they had no idea who I was when I called them. Then the classified sites started shutting down accounts of everybody that was placing these kinds of ads because too many people were doing it and we were all using the ad copy that our upline told us we had to use,,, because those were the ads that were approved by the upline.

To say I was upset that this was the “training” I was receiving on how to marketing online is more than an understatement.

So I quit.

Then I did the stupid thing.

I spent months studying Internet Marketing. And not just Internet Marketing, but direct marketing, permission based marketing, advertising, copywriting, social scripts, human behavior, neuro linguistic programming, the art of closing, team building empowerment, and international business. (When I do something I go all the way) ON TOP OF ALL THIS I was studying primary companies to join. I looked at hundreds. And they all looked the same (chances are I looked at yours too). This was a good thing because I was learning, but the stupid part was that I was not doing anything to be productive or making any money. I was just sitting around taking in all this information making sure that I “got it right” before I started.

Huge mistake.

There is no reason to sit around studying and postponing putting your knowledge to work in this industry. This is an EARN while you LEARN profession. And I made one of the biggest rookie mistakes and thought I had to know everything before I could get started.

In the midst of all this training, education and searching I finally came across 2 things that put an end to it all.

1. A mastermind team of marketers.

2. A company that stood out from the other 4800+

    Hi Stephanie,

Nice looking blog! It is refreshing to read a “different” story than you generally read about online. I was similar in that I started out marketing online as well (approaching friends and family is just not my style). You are absolutely correct that you need to learn as you go…this is a business where you must take massive action to be successful!

    Keep up the great work.

    Hi Stephanie
I saw your comment on Ryan Deiss and smiled, then looked at your photo (which I thought was really nice LOL) – so here I am!
I too wasted a lot of time ‘learning and not earning’ – and even more lost time trying to ‘learn and not doing’ – reading and watching is all very well, but there comes a time when you need to ‘take action’.
So I agree with your post ‘wholeheartedly’ and urge others to ‘jump in’ and not waste time.
    regards
    Graham in UK
